Janada’s extensive career in education began during her college years where she directed a large, developmental based preschool and enjoyed offering a rich environment of activities for both young children and their families. Emphasis on learning based upon different rates and individual needs continued to influence her approach to teaching in public school education as well.
When her children were young, Janada opened and directed an after school program for school aged children serving many families in the community for 15 years.

In addition to Early Childhood Education, Janada’s interests include health and wellness. A 12 year career with Weight Watchers as a Leader inspired her to broaden her knowledge of wellness. After training as a life coach and helping many individuals lose weight and regain health, Janada was recruited to become Director of Education of ZONE Wellness, associated with the ZONE diet created by Barry Sears. Developing and writing a year long healthy maintenance life style program was an exciting and fulfilling accomplishment.

Currently, Janada is a part-time instructor in Stanford University’s Health Improvement Program (HIP) and Stanford WorkLife Program. She is also offering weekly wellness classes at Deborah’s Palm, a women’s resource center in downtown Palo Alto.

Janada offers classes and coaching on both parent education and health and wellness. Her Love and Logic® classes are fun and practical, with easy-to apply techniques also supported by her years as an educator and parent. Her health and wellness classes at Stanford University in the Health Improvement Program (HIP) and WorkLife Program as well as other venues are informative, interactive, and easy to apply to everyday lifestyle.
